A 27-year-old man has died after falling from the rooftop of the London House Hotel in downtown Chicago on Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred around 7 p.m. at the luxury hotel located at 85 E Wacker Drive, drawing a large emergency response to the busy tourist area. Chicago police and fire officials arrived on scene within minutes of the initial 911 call.
According to authorities, the man was found critically injured after the fall. He was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
