With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Mandee Connor, a cherished wife, devoted mother, and compassionate caregiver, who died tragically in accident in Fort Myers, Florida. Her cause of death was associated with her accident. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mandee made Fort Myers her home, where she deeply touched the lives of many through her professional dedication and personal warmth.
Mandee was the beloved wife of Battalion Chief Jimmy Connor of the Fort Myers Fire Department. Their bond was one of love, strength, and unwavering support, and her sudden passing has left an irreplaceable void in both the Connor family and the extended FMFD community.
Mandee dedicated her professional life to helping children thrive. As a part of the FOCUS Therapy team in Fort Myers, she played a vital role in offering screenings, evaluations, and therapies for children across Lee County and beyond. Her work included speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, ABA therapy, and autism diagnostic services, both in-person and via teletherapy throughout Florida. Her compassion and commitment to children and their families were evident in every interaction.
The Fort Myers Fire Department shared in a heartfelt statement,
